Invasive Weed Surveyor
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £28-32k pa (DOE) + overtime, company van and fuel card
We are recruiting for a Japanese Knotweed Technician to work within Greater London and the M25 area. This is a permanent job opportunity paying up to £28,000 per year plus overtime, company van, fuel card, 29 days paid holiday and enrolment into the company pension scheme. As a Japanese Knotweed Technician you will be working on pre-booked jobs visiting multiple sites per day which would include residential properties, commercial sites and open areas. Work would include applying stem injection and herbicidal spray to Japanese Knotweed and other Invasive Species throughout the growing season. There is also opportunity to gain experience in large scale excavation projects and potential training to become a knotweed surveyor.
Summary of duties:
Responsible for inspections of residential properties, commercial and local authority sites to recognise the presence of knotweed and assess the scale and significance of the affected area. You will be visiting up to 4 sites per day to discuss requirements with clients and compiling reports and management plans. On occasion you may also be required to be involved in and potentially supervise knotweed excavation projects.
Training and qualifications:
Essential:
PA1 & PA6 – Safe Use of Pesticides & Handheld Applicator (Theory & Practical Exam)
Property Care Association - Qualified Technician of Japanese Knotweed (PCAQT)
Property Care Association – Certificated Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK)
Desirable:
PA6AW – Handheld Application in or Near Water with Hydraulic Nozzle
PA6INJ – Operating Handheld Pesticide Injection Equipment
PA6PP – Installing Pesticide Plugs in Tree Stumps
Personal specifications:
Smart appearance
Previous experience in the invasive weeds industry
Full clean driving licence

Grounds Maintenance Gardener

Salary: £28-3k pa (DOE) + overtime, company van and fuel card
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team, responsible for maintaining gardens across residential, commercial, and industrial sites throughout London. The salary is negotiable based on experience.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will hold a horticultural qualification or have at least one year of hands-on experience in professional garden maintenance. You must have a thorough understanding of hedging, topiary, lawn care, shrubs, and perennials, and be able to manage and prioritise seasonal gardening tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you will interact with clients and collaborate with managers to uphold our high standards.
Required skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in garden maintenance or landscaping
Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment
A passion for gardening and strong plant knowledge
Experience in pruning, lawn care, pest and disease management
Well-presented, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with a positive attitude
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
Desirable:
Pesticide Spraying Licenses (PA1 and PA6)
